To the sparsely visited hill country of eastern Nepal.
Spend seven days exploring Tin Jure Danda in eastern Nepal, with its spring forests colored by rhododendrons and views of Kanchenjunga, the world's third-highest peak. Travel by domestic flight and road to Basantapur, using a two-night stay as your base for walks through the forest. Look for flowers, admire the mountains, and experience the villages and pastoral scenery of the east. On the return journey, descend to the Terai plains and trace Nepal's diverse nature and culture, including the World Heritage Sites of Kathmandu.
