Enjoy winter activities and traditional culture amid Mongolia’s snow-covered wilderness.
Set in Terelj National Park, which stretches across the area near the capital, Ulaanbaatar, this trip offers beautiful snow-covered grasslands and rocky mountains, along with experiences such as horseback riding and dog sledding.
Experience horseback riding with a local horse handler and visit a traditional nomadic home known as a “ger” to discover Mongolia’s nomadic culture. You’ll also explore sights around Terelj, including the Genghis Khan Equestrian Statue, Turtle Rock, and Aryabal Meditation Temple.
In the latter part of the trip, head to Ulaanbaatar. In addition to a city tour that introduces the country’s history and culture, enjoy the sounds of the traditional morin khuur (horsehead fiddle) and shop for Mongolian cashmere.
