This is a 7-day trip centered on trekking with chimpanzees and gorillas.
In addition to forest experiences in Nyungwe National Park and Volcanoes National Park, it includes visits to a lakeside town and the capital Kigali.

Gorilla trekking Transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing, then begin gorilla trekking.
It offers visitors a unique opportunity to discover the 10 gorilla families that inhabit the national park. You can enjoy coffee before the trek, and groups are divided into sets of up to 8 people according to fitness. Each group is accompanied by one guide and two well-trained scouts for emergencies. The allotted time for a trek varies depending on where the gorilla family is located. Some encounters last about 30 minutes, while others can take a whole day.

Kigali Genocide Memorial & Museum Located just outside central Kigali in the Gasabo district, the Kigali Genocide Memorial & Museum was established through a partnership between the Kigali City Council and the UK-based Aegis Trust. This center is highly moving, challenging, educational, and ultimately poignant, and it is an excellent place to understand the causes, tragedies, and successes of post-genocide reconstruction.
The memorial conducts transparent and educational tours, but learning that more than 250,000 victims are buried on the grounds of this memorial is deeply saddening and sobering. [English Guide]
