The first stop is the ceremonial site (ahu) of Ai Vaihu. This site on Hanga Ti Bay on the south coast preserves traces of destruction from centuries ago.
Next, head to the area of Akahanga. According to legend, this is where the famous king Hotu Matu'a’s tomb is located.
Then visit the Rano Raraku quarry, one of the most important sites in Rapa Nui culture. About 900 moai were carved here, and 397 remain in unfinished or in-transit states.
After that, go to Ahu Tongariki. Restored in 1995, this site features 15 imposing moai standing in a row, offering a spectacular sight.
Next is the mystical place known as Te Pito O Te Henua (the navel of the world). Here is a large round stone considered the island’s energy center, said to symbolize the ancient Rapa Nui cosmology.
Finally, arrive at Anakena, a beautiful beach on Easter Island. It has two restored ahu, Ahu Nau Nau and Ahu Ature Huki. Surrounded by white sand and palm trees, you can enjoy the warm Pacific waters and relax on the pink-tinged sand.

After enjoying a delicious breakfast, we depart to explore Orongo.
First, we climb the Rano Kau volcano. From the summit of this dormant volcano, you can take in a magnificent view of Easter Island’s entire coastline, volcanic group, and the town of Hanga Roa.
At the next viewpoint, you can overlook the crater of Rano Kau and the mysterious lagoon that spreads within it.
After that, we visit the Orongo ceremonial village. This site was once a sacred village where the Birdman (Tangata Manu) ceremonies and competitions were held. In the competition, participants descended steep cliffs, swam to a small islet, and the first to return with a gannet egg was recognized as the "ruler of the island."
After completing all the sightseeing, we return to the hotel.

The first stop is the Tahai ceremonial ruins. Here stand three ahu (altars) with restored moai statues. A notable point of this site is that it has the only moai statue with painted "eyes." You can also see the remains of boat-shaped dwellings, stone-built chicken coops, and a fully stone-constructed pier.
Next we head to Ahu Akivi. This altar features seven restored moai statues in a row. According to legend, these seven moai represent the explorers first sent to Rapa Nui by the king Hotu Matu'a.
Finally, we visit the Puna Pau quarry. This is the place where the "pukao" (hats) that sit on top of the moai heads were carved.
Thus concluding a journey that touches Rapa Nui's history and culture, we return to the hotel.
