A tour of Brazil and Argentina visiting São Paulo, Iguazu, and Buenos Aires.
One of the most important themes of this trip is tracing the history and legacy of Japanese immigrants deeply rooted in South America.
The itinerary includes special experiences that explore Japanese roots in South America, especially the Okinawan community’s culture and development, such as visiting the Liberdade district (Japantown) and the Okinawa Kenjinkai in São Paulo, and attending the Okinawa festival at Urumaen and visiting the Okinawa Kenjinkai and Nichia Academy in Buenos Aires.
In the middle of the trip, enjoy the grandeur of nature. You will visit the Iguazu Falls—one of the largest waterfalls in the world—from both the Brazilian and Argentine sides, experiencing its overwhelming scale and power firsthand.
The climax in Buenos Aires lets you fully enjoy the city’s passionate culture. A city tour will take you to lively main attractions such as the Boca district, Caminito, and the Obelisk, and in the evening you can watch a tango dinner show to feel Argentina’s passionate culture and atmosphere.

Unravel the history of Japanese immigrants
In São Paulo you will visit the Brazilian Immigration Museum and the Immigration Museum to learn deeply about the pioneering history and legacy of Japanese immigrants. You will also visit Okinawan associations in both São Paulo and Buenos Aires and attend events such as the Okinawa festival at Urumaen, providing a special opportunity to encounter Japan’s roots, particularly the culture and development of the Okinawan community.
