Travel story
Savor the city
Unwind by the sea
France is good at refreshing
-
This is an itinerary for traveling within France that combines two cities with different characters, Paris and Nice. The first half focuses on walking the streets and experiencing culture in Paris, and the second half is structured to enjoy Mediterranean coastal scenery and the resort atmosphere based in Nice. Including travel between cities, it allows you to effortlessly experience the unique charm of France, where the atmosphere can change dramatically within the same country.
Signature points
The richness of city and culture experienced in Paris
Paris focuses on walking the city, experiencing French urban culture such as museums, cafes, and architecture. Rather than ticking off tourist spots, the stay is characterized by enjoying the city's atmosphere as a whole.
Nice stay that unravels in Mediterranean light
In the latter half, based in Nice, you can fully enjoy coastal scenery and the resort atmosphere. Through strolling the old town and time by the sea, you can experience the open feeling characteristic of the French Riviera.
A tour structure where domestic travel changes the mood
It combines two cities within the same France whose characters differ greatly. The movement itself becomes an accent of the trip, and the itinerary naturally provides refreshment during the stay.

Discover Nice
On the French Riviera, near the border with Italy, lies Nice. Nicknamed Nissa La Bella ("Nice the Beautiful"), it's a historic city famous for its artistic spirit, grand plazas, crescent-shaped pebble beaches, and the narrow streets of its colorful old town, Vieille Ville. Nice is a densely populated coastal metropolis (the seventh most populous city in France), which means there are secrets to discover and adventures to be had around every corner.
Thanks to the central location of your accommodation, you'll be able to enjoy on your own this city. You must visit sites like the Greek quarter (Nice was actually founded by the Ancient Greeks of the Massalia region in 350 BCE), and the Roman remains of an amphitheater and arena in the historic Cimiez neighborhood. This is also the location of two other notable landmarks: the opulent Excelsior Régina Palace, where Queen Victoria of England used to summer on the French Riviera, and the Musée Matisse, a museum showcasing the works of Nice's most famous painter, the expressionist master Henri Matisse.
Other highlights of this city are the Promenade des Anglais, Port Lympia, the aforementioned Vieille Ville, and the ornate St Nicholas Russian Orthodox Cathedral.
At the end of the day, you'll be back at your accommodation in Nice.
