阿馬爾菲停留為重點的設計

Explore Amalfi, the lovely resort town on the coast – Free time
Amalfi was once the capital of the maritime republic known as the Duchy of Amalfi. Between 839 and around 1200, it was an important trading power in the Mediterranean. Amalfi traders engaged in commerce with neighboring regions, exchanging goods like grain, salt, and timber for gold dinars from Egypt and Syria.
In the Edwardian era, Amalfi became a popular seaside resort. Members of the British upper class spent their winters here, drawn by the stunning coastal scenery and pleasant climate.
Amalfi is the main town along the Amalfi Coast (Costiera Amalfitana). This picturesque coastline includes other charming towns like Positano and Ravello. Together, they form a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The Duomo di Sant’Andrea (Amalfi Cathedral) overlooks the central square. Its breathtaking architecture and historical significance make it a must-see for travellers.
As you explore, don’t miss the chance to taste the local limoncello—a lemon liqueur—and visit the Paper Museum, which showcases Amalfi’s historical role in paper production.

The town is home to several beautiful buildings, including the historic Duomo and enchanting flower gardens.
