Travel story
From Ecuador on the equator to the evolutionary sanctuary of the Galápagos Islands, and then to the mysterious Pacific isle of Easter Island. This is a grand journey where you can experience the origins of life and the mysteries of human civilization all at once.
Stand on the boundary between the Northern and Southern Hemispheres at the UNESCO World Heritage historic center of Quito and the equator monument, and encounter giant tortoises, marine iguanas, and sea lions at close range in the Galápagos. Activities such as landing on uninhabited islands, snorkeling, and kayaking let you surrender to the embrace of nature.
In the latter half, the stage shifts to Chile and the isolated Pacific isle of Easter Island. Deepen your understanding of the rise and fall of the Rapa Nui civilization told by the massive moai statues with a Japanese-speaking guide. At the dinner show, be moved by the island’s music and dance traditions.
A once-in-a-lifetime circuit trip woven from nature and history, adventure and emotion.
Signature points
A prologue to the journey led by the equator and historic Quito
Tour Quito’s historic center—often said to be the best-preserved in the world—and the equator monument with Japanese interpretation. The experience of straddling the Southern and Northern Hemispheres is a symbolic opening to this trip. Encounter the depth of Ecuador where history and science intersect.
Encounter the planet’s original life forms on the evolutionary islands of the Galápagos
In the Galápagos, the program covers visits to the Charles Darwin Research Station, tortoise reserves, landings on uninhabited islands, snorkeling, and kayaking. Time spent eye-to-eye with wildlife that is unafraid of humans lets you feel the Earth’s primordial landscapes far removed from civilization.
Approach the soul of Easter Island told by moai statues and dance
On Easter Island, a Japanese-speaking guide provides careful explanations at major sites such as the Rano Raraku quarry and Ahu Tongariki. In the evening, experience Rapa Nui spiritual culture with all your senses at a traditional dance dinner show. Gain a deep insight into the memories of civilization etched on this isolated Pacific island.

Next, visit Ahu Akivi, the platform with seven restored moai. According to legend, these seven figures represent the first explorers who arrived on Rapa Nui sent by King Hotu Matu'a. From there we continue to the Puna Pau quarry, where the pukao—moai "hats"—were carved.
