Travel story
Between blue and red
Sand, stones, and voices layer together
A landscape that is not a color rises
—
On this journey, you will travel south through Morocco, visiting major cities and natural landscapes from Casablanca to Marrakech. On the first day you will transfer from Casablanca to Chefchaouen and stroll the old medina known as the "blue city." Next you will stay in Fes, exploring the historic medina's intricate alleys and cultural sites.
Midway through the trip you will head to Merzouga, the gateway to the Sahara Desert, and stay in a camp surrounded by dunes. Sunrise and sunset views and cultural experiences in Berber villages are included. From there you cross mountain areas via the Dadès Valley and arrive at the final destination, Marrakech.
Travel is by private SUV, and stays in riads allow you to experience different spaces and rhythms unique to each city.
Signature points
Immerse yourself in color: the old medinas of Chefchaouen and Fes
Chefchaouen wrapped in blue and Fes’s intricately interwoven medina.
Experience layers of structure and sensations that can only be seen by walking.
Feel shifts in terrain and time: crossing the Sahara and the valleys
Dunes, stones, and flowing rivers. Each texture gradually shifts the trip’s center of gravity.
You will stay between sunset and sunrise, between sound and silence.
A southbound route that draws spatial gradations
From Casablanca to Marrakech. Changes in color, temperature, and architecture accumulate like geological strata.
The overall arrangement transforms the journey itself into a landscape.
