Walk through HafenCity and Speicherstadt with a trained tour guide!
From traditions to headless pirates to the Elbphilharmonie. The guided tour through the Speicherstadt is a varied mix of old and new!
On this tour, old meets new! In the Speicherstadt, the city planners merge tradition with modernity. We provide you with many clues, recommendations and background information in an eventful atmosphere. Let's start at the Baumwall underground station and admire the beautiful Elbphilharmonie. Of course, a detour to the traditional shipping port should not be missed. In the 19th century, the Speicherstadt gained worldwide fame as a trading centre. Among the most important goods were tea, coffee and oriental carpets.
Do you know the Kopi Luwak? Our friendly tour guides will be happy to tell you more about this expensive coffee. During our Speicherstadt adventure tour you will also learn interesting facts about oriental carpets. These are still stored today in the famous brick warehouses. Do you like photography? Then the tour guide will show you the ideal place to capture what is probably the most common photo motif in the Speicherstadt. The group walks over numerous bridges that cross the typical canals. At high tide there are also some traditional barges on the way. The Speicherstadt offers a large number of attractions and museums, which we pass during this varied tour.
Finally, we take a look at the Speicherstadtrathaus together and stop at the former customs office. We find the conclusion in the Kontorhaus district at the Chilehaus. Look forward to an unforgettable and very varied tour through the UNESCO World Heritage Site Speicherstadt and the trendsetting HafenCity. [English Guide]
