  • Rainbow Mountain sightseeing Today you will visit Vinicunca (Rainbow Mountain), one of Peru’s most impressive natural wonders. It is part of the majestic Ausangate mountain range, and the vivid colors on its slopes create a very distinctive landscape formed by mineral-rich layers exposed over long periods of time.

    The tour departs Cusco early in the morning (around 5:30 AM) and heads south along the Puno road to the village of Cusipata for breakfast. Afterwards, you will proceed to the trailhead and begin a hike of approximately 3 hours. Along the way, enjoy sweeping panoramic views of snow-capped peaks, glaciers, and local wildlife.

    After exploring and taking photos, you will descend, stop for lunch, and return to Cusco in the late afternoon.
