Travel story
Because I was traveling alone, I could enjoy Peru in South America at my own pace.
In Lima, the "food capital", I taste local cuisine at markets and long-established eateries, and experience Peruvian culture while strolling the streets.
In Cusco, I freely explore the city at 3,400 m above sea level, and in the Sacred Valley I witness the Pisac market and the magnificent ruins and terraced fields of the ancient Inca civilization.
The World Heritage site of Machu Picchu is visited with a Japanese-speaking guide, allowing me to soak up the grandeur of nature and history all to myself.
In Nazca, I view the Pacific coast and the Nazca Lines from the air, continuing a series of moving experiences.
History, nature, gastronomy, and spectacular scenery come together in this special adventure that is safe and fulfilling even for solo travelers.
