You will visit the world heritage cities of Tashkent, Khiva, Bukhara, Samarkand, and Shakhrisabz, each marking a long history. You will be amazed by the beauty of magnificent Islamic architecture and enjoy the diverse nature of Central Asia, including vast deserts, mountains, and mysterious lakes. This is a fulfilling 9-day journey with a Japanese guide and a private car for a comfortable experience.

The journey from Khiva to Bukhara takes about 6 hours, but the view of the vast desert landscape from the car window is an impressive sight reminiscent of the ancient Silk Road, which is unfamiliar to Japanese people.

Transfer from Yurt to Samarkand (approximately 4 hours) | Sightseeing in Samarkand
In the morning, after having breakfast at the yurt, we will depart for Samarkand, famous for its history and cultural heritage (the travel time is approximately 4 hours).
Upon arrival in Samarkand, we will visit the following sightseeing spots:
• Gur-e Amir Mausoleum: The famous mausoleum where Timur and his descendants are buried.
• Registan Square: The central historical square of Samarkand, surrounded by three magnificent madrasahs.
• Bibi-Khanym Mosque: The grand mosque built during the Timurid era.
• Shayb Bazaar: A historic market where you can feel the local traditional life.
After sightseeing, we will check in at the hotel and take a break.
In the evening, there will also be an opportunity to see a night show at the illuminated Registan Square.

Samarkand → Shahrisabz → Urgut → Samarkand|A Journey Through History and Culture
In the morning, we depart from Samarkand and head to Shahrisabz, the hometown of Amir Timur (travel time: approximately 1.5 hours). Here, we will visit the following important historical sites:
• Ruins of the Ak-Saray Palace: The remaining gate of Timur's massive palace. A masterpiece of advanced architectural techniques.
• Doriut-Tilovat Complex: A religious architectural group that flourished as a center of Islamic studies and spirituality.
• Dori-Ulssadad Mausoleum Complex: The sacred burial site of Prince Jahangir, Timur's son.
After lunch, we will stop by the village of Urgut on our way back, where you can observe the process of creating traditional embroidery art "Suzani" and participate in a master class. Through this experience, you will get in touch with the ancient handicraft culture of Uzbekistan.
After returning to Samarkand, if time permits, you can visit other attractions that you haven't seen yet. In the evening, check in to the hotel and relax.

From Samarkand to Penjikent

Samarkand-Penjikent Early in the morning, by private car to the Tajikistan border. After passport checks and baggage inspection, we will tour the seven lakes by a private car in Tajikistan. The seven lakes located in the mountainous area of Penjikent are also popular tourist spots known as the Seven Lakes. Beautiful blue and green lakes spread between the rocky mountains, allowing you to feel the mysteries of nature. After touring the lakes, we head to the city of Penjikent, which was also the town of the ancient state of Sogdiana. The old town, where people lived and thrived in the 5th century before the spread of Islam in Central Asia, now resembles a ruin. After strolling through the city that retains the essence of Central Asia, we return to Samarkand.
