Travel story
When I placed my hand on the rugged trunk, the baobab was breathing.
The sensation of my feet walking deeper into the forest, over rocks, and across rivers.
Seeing, hearing, climbing,
Madagascar was a place to encounter with all five senses.

Starting from Antananarivo, after enjoying the encounter with the indri in the Perinet forest,
I headed west towards the avenue of baobabs. I transferred ferries and also experienced trekking in the UNESCO World Heritage site of Tsingy.
A journey of exploration unique to Madagascar, woven with endemic nature, diverse landscapes, and various means of transportation.
Signature points
Experiencing the vastness and diversity of Madagascar through travel
From Antananarivo to Perinet, Antsirabe, Morondava, and Bekopaka.
As I traveled hundreds of kilometers by bus and ferry, the scenery changed from grasslands to forests, rocky mountains, and sandy roads.
The essence of traveling in Madagascar is to 'move forward while feeling' the changes in the environment.
The avenue of baobabs changing its expression with the time of day
In the vicinity of Morondava in western Madagascar, I visited the characteristic avenue of baobabs.
With the brightness of the day and the changes in light at dusk, completely different landscapes can be enjoyed.
It is a popular spot for both tourism and photography.
Two trekking experiences in different terrains
At the UNESCO World Heritage site of Bemaraha, there are two trekking courses: the small Tsingy and the Grand Tsingy.
You can choose the difficulty according to your physical strength and time, allowing you to enjoy a natural experience without strain.
Both offer a valuable experience walking through rock crevices and limestone terrains.
