This itinerary centers on Tarangire National Park and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, touring the Tanzanian land where wildlife and human life coexist. After visiting a Maasai village and experiencing traditional life, you will feel nature up close on a ranger-accompanied walking safari and experience a world where people and animals live together. At Olduvai Gorge you will stand on the land said to be the birthplace of humankind and quietly savor time in which the memory of life still breathes.
Signature points
Cultural experiences meeting the Maasai and Hadzabe
During the trip you will visit a Maasai village that continues to preserve its unique traditions and encounter their pride through clothing, dwellings, and rituals. Near Lake Eyasi you will also interact with the Hadzabe, who continue a hunter-gatherer lifestyle, and experience skills such as bow-and-arrow hunting and fire-making. This is a valuable opportunity to feel people's lives up close beyond tourism and to appreciate cultural diversity.
Authentic safari in Ngorongoro
In the Ngorongoro Conservation Area you can enjoy an intense safari experience within the unique ecosystem spread across the crater floor. Time spent feeling the heartbeat of the animals up close provides the power and emotion unique to Africa.
Visit Olduvai Gorge tracing humankind's origins
Visit Olduvai Gorge, also called the "cradle of humankind," and witness a landscape where archaeological heritage and magnificent nature coexist. Through a local guide's explanations you can learn about the traces of life etched in strata from millions of years ago and feel the depth of Tanzania's land from a perspective different from a safari. Quiet time to reflect on the connection between nature and humanity will make this journey even more memorable.
