Travel story
Each time the place where you stand changes
The scent of the wind changes
And you remember the size of the world
—
This is an African circuit itinerary that visits four countries—Kenya, Zimbabwe, Botswana, and South Africa—combining safaris, World Heritage sites, and urban landscapes. In the first half you experience the scale of wildlife and the land at Maasai Mara National Reserve and Chobe National Park, and along the way encounter the power of nature at Victoria Falls. In the latter half you are based in Cape Town to enjoy the southernmost cityscapes where sea and city coexist.
Signature points
Experience the scale of wildlife and the land on safari
At Kenya's Maasai Mara National Reserve and Botswana's Chobe National Park, you will experience up close the density of wildlife and the expanse of the terrain. The itinerary, including travel between locations, is designed so you can feel the overwhelming presence of Africa's nature.
A waterfall experience to feel the power of nature
At Victoria Falls on the border of Zimbabwe and Zambia, you will experience the overwhelming scale created by the roar and volume of water. Encountering a different aspect of nature from the safari adds clear contrast and depth to the circuit.
Expansive nature activities in South Africa
In the second half the journey shifts to South Africa, where you'll experience activities that make the most of the magnificent natural environment. Incorporating time to be active in settings different from the safaris and waterfalls brings rhythm and dimensionality to the overall tour.
