This journey begins in Stavanger and heads north along Norway's west coast, weaving between fjords and mountains. At Preikestolen you walk along cliffs overlooking the fjord, and afterwards the trip continues mainly by boat and train, surrendering yourself to the scenery.

On the Geirangerfjord cruise you look up at sheer cliffs and cascading waterfalls, and on the Flåm Railway you follow views that connect valleys and mountainsides. Even without large physical movement, the route is designed to let you deeply savor spatial depth and changing landscapes.

  • Welcome to the Preikestolen Cruise & Hiking Trip from Stavanger in Summer This seasonal adventure is an experience full of beauty and emotion. It begins with a scenic cruise through the deep, narrow Lysefjord, surrounded by majestic cliffs and waterfalls.

    Relax as an electric boat glides across the clear water, revealing the grand natural beauty unique to Norwegian fjords. The powerful yet delicate terrain and the landscapes of waterfalls and cliffs will take your breath away.

    The cruise lasts about two hours. From the sea you can look up at the 604-meter cliff Preikestolen (Pulpit Rock) and be overwhelmed by its presence. Afterwards, transfer by bus at Forsand to Preikestolen Lodge, the trailhead.

    Here the real adventure begins. Hike toward the famous Preikestolen. The route passes through lush forests, rocky areas, and tranquil lakes, offering varied scenery that reveals a new face with every step.

    When you reach the summit, the moment you encounter the magnificent view of Lysefjord spread out below and the series of sheer cliffs is truly like standing at the edge of the world. The soft summer sunlight and long daylight hours will make this special day even more memorable.

    On the return trip, take the world’s longest undersea tunnel by bus back to Stavanger.

    You can visit areas of the city you haven't had a chance to see yet or explore the many diverse museums to deepen your appreciation of Bergen.

    For those interested in art, the KODE Art Museums are recommended. Spread across multiple buildings, this museum complex exhibits a wide range of works from Norway and abroad, including pieces by well-known artists such as Edvard Munch and Nikolai Astrup.

    If you are interested in Bergen’s maritime commercial history, the Hanseatic Museum is a must-see. The museum recreates the living quarters of Hanseatic merchants, allowing you to imagine the lives and hardships of the trading merchants of the past.

    For a more active plan, we recommend taking the cable car up Mount Ulriken. At the mountaintop restaurant Fjellstuet, you can enjoy a meal with panoramic views of Bergen. An activity that is also popular is traveling between Mount Ulriken and Mount Fløyen by zipline.

    Hiking enthusiasts will enjoy the maintained trails on Mount Ulriken for nature walks. On hot summer days, you can also enjoy playing in the beautiful mountain lakes.

    After leaving Geiranger, the tour proceeds along a varied and scenic bus route, with time at viewpoints for photography. The tour also includes ferry crossings over two fjords.

    You can visit areas of the city you haven't had a chance to see yet or explore the many diverse museums to deepen your appreciation of Bergen.

    For those interested in art, the KODE Art Museums are recommended. Spread across multiple buildings, this museum complex exhibits a wide range of works from Norway and abroad, including pieces by well-known artists such as Edvard Munch and Nikolai Astrup.

    If you are interested in Bergen’s maritime commercial history, the Hanseatic Museum is a must-see. The museum recreates the living quarters of Hanseatic merchants, allowing you to imagine the lives and hardships of the trading merchants of the past.

    For a more active plan, we recommend taking the cable car up Mount Ulriken. At the mountaintop restaurant Fjellstuet, you can enjoy a meal with panoramic views of Bergen. An activity that is also popular is traveling between Mount Ulriken and Mount Fløyen by zipline.

    Hiking enthusiasts will enjoy the maintained trails on Mount Ulriken for nature walks. On hot summer days, you can also enjoy playing in the beautiful mountain lakes.

  • Geiranger & Trollstigen Tour Join this breathtaking bus tour to enjoy the magnificent scenery of the Geirangerfjord, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Departing from Geiranger, the route passes the famous Trollstigen (the Troll's Ladder) and ascends to the mountaintop via the Romsdal Gondola.

    After leaving Geiranger, the tour proceeds along a varied and scenic bus route, with time at viewpoints for photography. The tour also includes ferry crossings over two fjords.

    Along the way, there will be a coffee break at the Trollstigen Café, and to conclude the journey you will ride the Romsdal Gondola to the mountaintop and enjoy a meal at the panoramic Eggen Restaurant.
