Travel story
A long-term stay Central Asia tour plan that slowly explores the culture, nature, and history of Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan over 22 days. It covers a wide range from historical cities like Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara, and Khiva to famous sites in Turkmenistan such as Kunya-Urgench, Darvaza, Ashgabat, and Mary. Many itineraries include a private car and guide, ensuring safe travel. Multiple nights are secured in major cities, allowing for a balanced itinerary of sightseeing and free time, enabling you to fully enjoy the charm of each place without haste. You can experience the depth of Central Asia with ease, including areas that are difficult to visit on regular tours.
Signature points
Flexible itinerary made possible by long-term stay
Many itineraries include two or more nights in each city, ensuring ample time for sightseeing, rest, and leisurely strolls without being rushed. Especially in Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara, and Ashgabat, there are arrangements for consecutive nights, allowing you to enjoy your travels at your own pace while absorbing the atmosphere of each place.
Crossing Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan by land
This route employs land travel with a private car and guide, crossing borders not only by air. You can experience the scenery during travel and the atmosphere of local cities, feeling Central Asia as a line rather than just points. Local cities like Fergana and Rishtan are also included, leading to a deeper understanding of the region.
Enjoying historical heritage and natural scenery in balance
In addition to historical heritage sites like the blue city of Samarkand, the key point of the Silk Road Bukhara, and the desert fortress Khiva, you will also visit breathtaking views where nature and ruins harmonize, such as the gas crater in Darvaza and the ruins of Kunya-Urgench. You can enjoy the contrast between cities and nature, as well as the fusion of Islamic architecture and desolate landscapes in one trip.

Ancient Merv
We will start a tour to visit Ancient Merv (UNESCO World Heritage Site). Merv, one of the major archaeological sites in Central Asia, played an important role in the development of the Silk Road for over 2000 years. Within the 1200-hectare archaeological park, there is an opportunity to observe all components of the 'wandering city'. The magnificent mausoleums of Sultan Sanjar and Muhammad ibn Zayd from the 12th century showcase the beauty of brickwork and architectural decoration from the Seljuk era.
Afterwards, we will visit the museum. In the ethnology section, Turkmen jewelry, carpets, taxidermied animals, a fully decorated yurt, and pottery from the Mongol occupation period are displayed. Particularly in the archaeology section, artifacts excavated from Merv and Margush are collected, showcasing pottery, weapons, household items, and jewelry. The excellent quality and design of household items from Margiana rival those in the collection of the National Museum in Ashgabat. For a time, the skeletal remains of a female priest from Margiana were also displayed, but due to a series of misfortunes and deaths among the museum staff, the artifacts were returned to their original location.
