Travel story
This is a journey exploring the history and nature of Turkmenistan. We will visit the World Heritage site of the ancient city of Kunya-Urgench and spend a mystical night at the Darvaza gas crater, known as the 'Gateway to Hell,' shining in the vast desert. In the modern city of Ashgabat, we will visit the ruins of Old Nisa, the former capital of the Parthian Kingdom, and the Saparmurat Turkmenbashi Spiritual Mosque, deeply experiencing the diverse charms of this country. This is a budget-conscious trip that utilizes a private car and domestic flights for an efficient and comfortable tour.

Night and Morning at the Gas Crater
At the Darvaza gas crater, commonly known as the 'Gateway to Hell,' enjoy a special barbecue dinner outdoors and stay in a traditional nomadic tent called a 'yurt.' The next morning, have breakfast in the yurt and enjoy a picnic-style breakfast at the gas crater. It is a special experience to feel the wonders of nature up close.
Exploring World Heritage Sites of History and Culture
In Kunya-Urgench, we will visit historical buildings such as the 11th-century Il-Arslan Mausoleum, the 12th-century Farhad al-Din Razi Mausoleum and Sultan Tekesh Mausoleum, the 12th to 14th-century Kutlug Timur Minaret, Turabek Khanum Mausoleum, and the mausoleums of Najm al-Din Kubra and Sultan Ali. In Ashgabat, we will visit the UNESCO World Heritage site of Old Nisa and the Saparmurat Turkmenbashi Spiritual Mosque, touching upon Turkmenistan's rich history and culture.
Visit to Rare Multiple Gas Craters
In addition to the experience at the 'Gateway to Hell' gas crater in Darvaza, we will also visit two rare craters, the Water Gas Crater and the Mud Gas Crater (mud volcano), during our transfer to Ashgabat. This allows for a deeper understanding of Turkmenistan's unique geological diversity and natural wonders.
