Travel story
Mountain ridgelines make you forget borders
Music and streets quietly respond to one another
The scenery does not over-explain, leaving only an aftertaste
—
The journey begins in Switzerland, embraced by Alpine landscapes, passes through Germany where urban culture breathes in a refined form, and proceeds to Austria where music and history blend into the streets.
Nature, city, and art—different elements—are linked without being overly emphasized, and as you move, the character of the journey gently changes.
Valuing texture over showiness, it is structured to quietly savor the layers of culture that seep through the scenery and streets.
Signature points
Time spent with the Alpine scenery
In Switzerland, mountain landscapes and lakeside towns bring a tranquility befitting the start of the journey. Majestic yet unassuming nature accompanies you even between transfers, gently restoring the pace of the heart.
Visiting a castle that embodies Romanticism
At Germany’s Neuschwanstein Castle, you encounter a symbol of 19th-century Romanticism where the king’s ideals and fantasies crystallized into architecture. The castle placed within the landscape quietly speaks of the idea of "architecture for beauty" beyond practicality, adding narrative to the Alpine journey.
Strolling through towns where music and history live on
In Austria, music and art are woven into the everyday landscape of the city. Walking the streets itself becomes an experience of encountering culture, leaving a quiet aftertaste at the end of the trip.

Neuschwanstein Castle and More Private Tour From Munich
Experience a captivating private tour designed to immerse you in the magic of Bavaria.
Duration: 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM (approximately)
Your journey begins as your personal guide picks you up from your hotel in Munich, and we’ll head to the picturesque Hohenschwangau village, the gateway to Neuschwanstein Castle.
First, enjoy a shuttle ride to the iconic Mary’s Bridge (Marienbrücke), where you can capture stunning photos of the castle and its breathtaking surroundings.
From there, we’ll take a short scenic walk to Neuschwanstein, often called the "fairy tale castle."
You’ll explore its enchanting interiors and learn about the fascinating life of King Ludwig II, known as the Swan King, and the rich history behind the construction of this architectural wonder (the castle entry is conducted as a group tour, in line with the castle’s policy).
After the castle tour, a charming horse-drawn carriage will take us back to Hohenschwangau village.
Please note: During the winter months, while snow is present, the shuttle bus will not operate, and Mary’s Bridge will remain
closed.
Next, we’ll drive to the historic village of Oberammergau, renowned for its wood carving traditions, beautifully painted houses, and the original Passion Play, which began in 1634. You’ll have free time to enjoy lunch, take photos, and explore local shops.
Next stop:
We’ll visit the magnificent Ettal Abbey, an impressive Baroque masterpiece nestled in the village of Ettal, in the foothills of the Bavarian Alps. Founded in 1330 by Holy Roman Emperor Ludwig the Bavarian for a group of knights and Benedictine monks, the abbey remains an active monastic community.
You’ll gain insight into the daily lives of the Benedictine monks who still reside there.
Afterward, we’ll return to your hotel, concluding a day filled with history, culture, and natural beauty.

Funicular and Salzburg Fortress tickets
The funicular FestungsBahn has been running to Hohensalzburg Fortress, the city's most striking landmark, in summer and winter since 1892. It runs every 10 minutes. The valley station is in the old town's heart (Festungsgasse 4). It takes just 54 seconds to cover a distance of 198.5 meters.
Hohensalzburg Fortress is enthroned on the Festungsberg, high above the rooftops of the Baroque historical district. The biggest fully preserved castle in Central Europe, this emblem of Salzburg, offers a 360-degree view of the city and its surroundings.
Highlights include the fortress’s many museums: The Fortress Museum itself shows historical exhibits focused on courtly life led by the prince archbishops; the Marionette Museum as well as the Museum of the Rainer Regiment likewise invite visitors to embark on a journey into the past. The historic armory houses an interactive exhibition on suits of armor and weapons. Also located on the third floor of the fortress are the Princes’ Chambers, consisting of the Princes’ Hall, the Golden Chamber, and the Golden Hall. The furnishings in all of these rooms are original and have remained unchanged since 1501/1502. Particularly impressive: a simulation of the night sky, consisting of gold stars on an azure and royal-blue background as well as the tile stove in the Golden Chamber. A Magical Theatre and modern media stations add an innovative touch to the experience!
The ticket includes:

Private Hallstatt Day Tour
This is a great excursion for anyone who loves both incredible scenery and history. After meeting your guide in your hotel (or any other location in the city of Salzburg), escape Salzburg for a private excursion to Hallstatt. Journey along the emerald green Fuschlsee to our first stop at Fuschl Castle. Travel on to St. Gilgen and take a stunning photo of the beautiful scenery from a great view point. Leaving St. Gilgen and driving along the Wolfgangsee, our trip will take us to the town of Bad Ischl, famous for its spa and the Emperor’s summer palace. Driving through Bad Goisern, we will reach one of the highlights of our tour, Hallstatt: the pearl of the Lake District. In Hallstatt, you can choose between taking the panorama funicular railway up the mountain and experiencing the magnificent “World Heritage view” 360 meters above town from the Hallstatt sky walk, or continuing on to the oldest salt mine in the world.
