Marco was born on in 1979 in Province of Bolzano in the North of Italy and speaks fluently German, Italian and English. He worked as project manager in Bolzano for almost 10 years (PMP certified), and he is an enthusiastic cyclist, mountain climber and marathon runner. It was precisely because of running that he discovered his passion for Ethiopia. Since 2009 he has been there several times, for tourism trips, but also for different other projects. Finally he and his friends set up SimienEcoTours, the company that Marco is now leading as General Manager. He’s also co-founder of Lela Trails, a company engaged in community tourism in Ethiopia, and Lela Outdoors, the country's first and only outdoor shop. Marco is now based in Addis Ababa where he lives since 2014 with his Ethiopian wife and 2 children.

エチオピアにて、アディスアベバ観光とオモ川下流域の民族に会いに行くガイドとドライバーをチャーターさせて頂いた３泊５日のスケジュールでした。
（良かった点）
旅行直前で、予定していた国内線が飛ばなくなり、オモ川下流域の民族に会えなくなると思いましたが、迅速な対応で、別ルートから訪問する事が出来、現地のご担当者にもお会いする事も出来、日本語しか分からない私達2人でも、翻訳で会話しながら親切にご対応頂き、更に、写真の撮り方も教えて頂き、有意義な時間を過ごす事が出来、沢山の思い出を作る事が出来ました。
（悪かった点）
何か事情があったのか分かりませんが、アディスアベバからの国内線の行きの席が、了承頂いた並び席ではなかった点です。
その為、国内線の帰りは、何度も念を押してしまいました。
こちらからも聞けば良かったのですが、事情があれば教えて欲しかった点です。
結論としては、また利用させて頂きたいと考えております。
